“Leaves in three, leave them be.”  Poison ivy can be identified as a winding vine, a shrub, or on the ground.  Rash may appear within 4 hours to 4 days after coming in contact with the plant. “If it has a longer middle stem.  Don’t touch them.”  “Hairy vine, no friend of mine.”  Poison ivy is usually found in North America.  Poison oak is usually found in the pacific coast of North America.  Poison sumac is usually found in the Eastern United States in marshes and swamps. Poison sumac usually has seven to thirteen leaves.
